Hey everyone. So currently I am using a dying mid 2013 macbook air. I have filled up it's 128gb storage, its 4 gb of ram is not running that well for me anymore, and it is slow when I am multitasking. I have to come to the conclusion of getting a new laptop. However, I am thinking of getting a razerblade stealth for these reasons: It looks amazing (love the rgb keyboard), It has better ram, it is one of the lightest laptops, battery life is a1, faster proccessor, portable, more storage, and windows. But there is one thing holding me back. I have used MAC OSX my whole life and I love how it works seamlessly with my iphone. My macbook can use FaceTime and imessages, which i use a lot to talk to friends. The razer will not have that functionality. Can someone please give me advice on what i should do? Razerblade or mac?

You can just unscrew the base and stick your own one in if you want, much more cost effective and lets you get a higher performance SSD than the crappy ones the manufacturer puts in.

If you don't want to bother with that though, get this, 16GB of RAM and a 960M which still performs great in most esports titles and perhaps even a few AAA titles with low quality settings or a resolution adjustment.

Go for a windows laptop, anyone who knows anything about laptops or PCs will know Apple are absolute thiefs when it comes to pricing laptops and hardware based on performance.
The highest end macbook gives the same performance as a $600 laptop realistically, if you include the graphics the same as a $700 one.

Budget?

The MSI I listed was $799 on sale at the time of pricing, i'll edit the link to reflect current pricing.
Could you link to this Clevo deal? I'm having a hard time believing it.

You need to note that these do not include a HDD or Windows for that matter, they work out to about 1k after adding those in, not a good deal.
Also you want at least a 240GB SSD, 120GB fills up fast, and you need to always leave 10-15% minimum space free to avoid performance impact.

Again, no hard drive, OS still needs to be accounted for.
OS actually works out to about $35 after buyer protection which is completely necessary buying from these sites, and a 1TB 2.5" drive would cost about 60 generally.
Still adds up to about $900, the laptop I listed is far better value.
