Need advice on buying a laptop

i dunno...whtever looks good on the laptop, bt nice clarity

4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?
Desktop rep., bt il move arnd once in a while

3-4 hrs

6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?
yea..high.. probably like dirt 3, hot pursuit, mafia, godfather2, burnout etc

7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.)
basic photo editing, and presentations(if at all)

8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need?
500gb would be nice

a dvd-rom would be gud enough

I dont know a lot about computers, bt i really like asus, sony and hp. dell is good i hear bt it looks too plasticky and the xps design is too bland.

13. What country do you live in?
Saudi Arabia and India, but well m buying the lap from Saudi

As I said befor, i dunno a lot abt computers, so any help at all wud be greatly appreciated

Don't expect to find a laptop that can max out those games(within your price range)
I'd recommend going with a notebook with i7 2630QM/4GB RAM/GT 555M.With this setup you can run those games fine one medium settings(or some on high if you lower the resolution)

Thnx fr the reply, But I dont mind maxxing my price range to 1000$ if the laptop is gud enough, I checked out Asus n series(the latest one) bt i dint like the design( bang and olufsen speakers and 2gb nvidia to note though), also checked out HP pavilion dv6 6095ex all under 1000$,
also could you suggest specific models or series please?
