Need advice on laptop crack

I have a MSI CR700 and where my screen plastic is cracked. Due to this my computer glitches in and out and eventually turns black. You have to hold the hinge on the screen tight to make it come back in. What can I do to fix it?

Replace the screen. It's possible that there is more damaged then the screen since your having to hold it near the hinges

Take it to a shop would by my recommendation.

You probably have to take it apart and check to see if the cable/ plug is loose or damaged.

I would take the screen out and check all of theconnections first. Do a search on Google to see if anyone else is having problems with their screens for that model. You may even be able to find a Youtube video of how to take your screen apart to check or repair the problem you are experiencing.

I have an HP Spectre x360 convertible and the plastic cover on the screen is the only thing that is cracked. is ther anyway to just replace the plastic or do i have to replace the whole screen? cuz the screens are really expensive.

I bet the bezel (you call it plastic) can be replaced but finding it is the trick. Call HP see how much they want.
