Hello, I'm planning on buying new headset. Right now I have to choices It's either Razer Kraken pro or SteelSeries Siberia v2
I'm planning on doing youtube videos so I need a good mic. I can't quite choose which one will give me better experience using them.

If you want to produce quality YouTube videos you MUST get a separate microphone. The ones built into gaming headsets are just downright awful. Get something like a Blue Snowball, Blue Yeti or Rode NT-USB microphone. They offer significantly better recording quality than the ones built into headsets.

If you are going for a separate microphone, you might want to consider good headphones rather than a headset. They usually offer better sound quality at a lower price. Especially because the "gaming" branding usually does nothing but bump up the price.

If you still want to get a gaming headset, you should definitely look into the HyperX Cloud gaming headset. It has good sound quality and the microphone really isn't that bad. Although...

Hi minemarcius,

I would definitely suggest buying a headphone and a mic seperately, because generally the mics that come with a headset are awful. For AMAZING sound quality and for a much lower price than both your headsets i would definitely suggest the audio-technica ATH-M50X headphones, and for a mic i would suggest the Blue Snowball. These both combined will blow both the headsets you listed out of the water.

Personally the only good mic i know on a headset is the gamescom 780.

PS: from personal experience the Razer Krakens sound pretty shit :)
