What laptop would you choose?
I am planning to updrade to an ssd and 16g of ram. Is there a difference between DDR3L and DDR3L (SODIMM)?

SODIMM is just the name for the memory design, saying DDR3 laptop memory is enough, any laptop memory will be SODIMM now.

I would go with the Lenovo, it's a more reliable brand and a hybrid hard drive has real-world performance boost over a standard hard drive.
