My wifes laptop is falling apart.. its a 6 year old dell xps gen 2 video card died on it once.. was able to fix it in the over (no joke) but now the headphone jack some how got pushed inside i'm about to take it apart and see if i can fix it.. but i've been thinking about getting something a little better for her for a while.. she mainly uses it to watch some hulu,surf the web, email, and play flash/java game (think farm ville type things)

3. What screen resolution do you want?
1366 x 768 or better
4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?

5. How much battery life do you need?
more then an hour lol
6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?
not to much into games mainly just browser type games..
7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.)
Email, streaming video (hulu), photo viewing.. web browsing
8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need?
more then 100gig altho the current laptop only has about 50

anything that will give me the best bang for the buck.. even walmarts web site isnt outta the running LOL

anything really.. i've had good experiences with acer,asus,dell,toshiba.... so brand isnt a huge concern for me
