I currently have an Acer Aspire 5552G-7641 laptop.
There are a few things I could complain about, but my main irks are the battery life, the sound quality and the screen.
I know there's pretty much nothing I can do about the screen. It has an absolutely terrible viewing angle, poor, fainted colors and it's actually green when you look at it turned off. Also, the sound quality sounds terrible It has one tiny speaker in the top left corner and a really poor sound driver. Probably nothing can be done about that either.
Although there's a lot I don't like about this laptop, I simply don't have the funds to go and buy some nicer one after worrying about selling this for $400 or less. So I've decided to upgrade it.
Anyhow, I am looking for the following.
-SSD that is appx. 120GB that will not fail on me after 50% storage capacity. I was looking at the Crucial M4 series.
-8GB of DDR3 RAM (204-pin). I'm not good at picking out RAM because I am unfamiliar with Cas latency and so-on.
-A new battery. I found one that fits my model that is a 9-Cell and it has almost 3000 mAh more than my current 6-Cell battery rated at 4400 mAh.
Specs if needed:
