Need help setting up surround sound on new logitech g930?

I feel like my settings aren't right for my new headset, supposedly the headset in question is 7.1 surround but some games just don't sound that defined. Should I have certain settings set in windows or in video games? Thanks in advance.

I don't think there are any 7.1 channel headsets. Most of them are virtual surround. You could probably enable that using the included software (or download one if you don't have one)
