Need help to identify old TV cable!

Hi all, really hope someone can help me identify the attached connector!

Have recently moved into a new property that has an external areial with that connector, it's a pretty old house and I can't seem to find any information about what it is online.

Would appreciate any help!!

Looks like a regular coax cable, but with a weird connector. I think it some old video/security camera connection.

I thought it looked similar to a standard cable just with a weird tip!

Do you think I could get away with just getting a new connector to put on the end?

Does it feed a cable signal? In any case if it is a coax cable it shouldn't be any problem, just cut it off and put on a new connector. I can't tell the size well, but this connection might even work as it is.

?? Weird connector ??that's a standard coax UHF connector , my digital TV uses the same socket for digital free view TV
