Hi all,
So I bought this: https://www.amazon.com/FarSail-Splitter-Support-Players-Blu-ray/dp/B01CT9TNZM#Ask Hoping to be able to split my PC display and audio to an older HDMI tv. I have been unplugging the cable to switch from the living room tv and the 24" monitor. I'm mainly playing the Witcher and babysitting a puppy while on break and I want to be able to play movies from my computer without having to open the files blind. (My computer is in a room ~10 feet from the TV.
The computer is recognizing the devices, but not giving me an option to turn the sound on through the TV, just the monitor. I can make sound work going to the TV, but it will fail on the computer if both are plugged into the splitter.

I'm using a GTX 760 from nVIDIA. It may also be issues with my soundcard? (dunno, trying to improve my tech understanding) I have also wondered if I have the speaker setting incorrectly assigned to ports, I have two bose speakers on my desk plugged into the side panel of the PC. I can see this on and green when it is plugged into the side port, but I know it doesn't work through the back port.
Sorry if this doesn't make a ton of sense, I'm trying to learn, but I figured someone here would know more than me!

Should I be going at this in a different way? I have a DVI port in the Videocard as well. I just want to be able to mirror the displays with sound.
Here is the PC build http://pcpartpicker.com/user/AlSchmitt44/saved/p7yLrH

Here are some screenshots I took of my sound options. It will not let me turn any of the ones with red arrows on. It senses that they are there. For the NVIDIA panel the one I have selected in the picture is the only one available for me to choose from (no HDMI or TV option, just the main monitor)

IF you are using HDMI out on your Video card, you need to change the default playback device to the graphics card. With the TV Plugged in (Via splitter or directly) go to Sounds in Control panel. Under Playback you will have NVIDIA HDMI Output. Change that to default. that should fix the issue.

The only other issue i can think of, is like my TV which is about 8 years old now, had 3 HDMI ports. 1 of them DOES NOT do audio and I have to connect the old RCA White/Red cables for Audio, but the TV should say that (It will all be in the same boxed area)

I updated my question with some screenshots, I will go ahead and reinstall the NVIDIA drivers if that has a shot at working. Otherwise I might just unhook the thing every time. Thanks for all the help, lemme know what you think I should do from here.
