Need help with intel hd graphics and a dedicated G

My Laptop has 2 gpus intel hd graphics and a Nvidia 970m I'm having a problem where when I disable the intel graphics Minecraft runs fine which is what I want however this means I can no longer plug in the laptop into a monitor which is how I have it set up. Help would be appreciated.

why do u need to disable the integrated gpu?u can always choose what gpu to use during gaming via the nvidia control panel or right clicking on the game.also the igpu is also responsible for external monitor output.

I have set the global setting as high performance nvidia gpu but still hasn't fixed it, what do you mean by right clicking on the game?

Never mind I see what you mean about right clicking on it still doesn't work but yes I tried again and when the intel hd graphics are disabled it with 90fps in lobby compared to 20fps when it is enabled
