Need help with my new Headphones.

Not sure if in the correct thread but do move if wrong. My question is well a question. I bought a new pair of Afterglow headphones that include a mic aswell and outputs a 3.5 mm jack. I can use them for my computer for gaming but I wanted to know if I could use them for my Xbox 360 too. I know the jacks are different but could I use a 3.5mm female to 2.5mm male jack to make it work or should I try something else? Do note there is a mic on them aswell. I do not have a jack on my tv. I was thinking maybe using a rca to 3.5mm jack but doesnt that mean no mic? I just need to know because im sure you could use them somehow.

Also my afterglow doesnt have the red and white cable just a 3.5mm.

There are many addaptors. This one may work depending on what you connecting to. Let me know if instead your trying to connect to the controller.

Ok wait I'm confused. Most of these cables require two cables and I only have one. Will the first link alone work for both audio and mic? Maybe I should include that this headset was built for the Xbox one. Can that even work or should I just buy a legit xbox 360 headset???

The first requires 2 plugs so you need a pig tail to split your single 3.5 into 2. Most likely its this one.

And by doing that will I be able to hear both Game music, chat and also chat to others?

Also I assume that the first one has two jacks?

Also I think the part that goes in the controller only allows chat and no in game sound.

Yup the adapter has to female connectors. Thus you need to single 3.5 with both signals converted into 2 seperate.

Thus this splits your headphone and your mic.

The X360 is a non-OEM product so there no way to be 100% sure. It should as long as the part is good.
