1_What is your budget? About $2400

2_What is the size of the notebook that you are considering? 17"

3_What screen resolution do you want? good one

4_Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop? Portable gaming laptop would be best since i need to carry it to class.

5_How much battery life do you need?as much as a good laptop can

6_Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. Mostly new games that are coming out soon... like diablo 3 GW2 Crysis starcrafts and whatnot would like dx11 if possible

kentalish--I've got a couple questions:

1) Are you interested in opening up a laptop yourself to add RAM at some point?

2) What gaming computer are you using currently?

3) If you could buy a gaming laptop that makes newer games like Just Cause 2 look VERY good (but not maxed all settings) for $1000, would you prefer to buy one of those? Because you could just buy a newer laptop better than the $2400 one for $1500 a year from now--paying for the absolute best is only worth the money if the money doesn't matter to you.

4) Do you care about 3D gaming?

5) Is an SSD a big deal to you?
