Need laptop for pc engineering and coding colleage

I will be attending college soon and i need some recommendations for some laptops around $700-1200 NZD Dollars. The min specs are 4gb ram i5 or higher cpu. I just need a laptop that can boot fast run coding and network programs without lag and be easy to carry around all day.
