Need Suggestion for Buying a new Laptop

I am looking for a laptop for games and VMware stuff. Below 2 are my options can you suggest me the best Laptop.

1. Intel Core i7 6th Gen(i7-6500U) + RAM 16GB+ 1 TB HDD/4 GB Graphic (AMD Radeon R5 M335) + 15.6"LED

2. Intel Core i7 5th Gen(i7-5500U) + RAM 16GB + 256GB SSD + 2GB Graphics (NVIDIA GeForce 920M) + 14" HD

For VMware, both laptops are not great at all. You need a quad core (like an i7 quad core) to really use VMware and still have high speeds on the laptop.

But if I had to choose, it would be the 1st option, GPU is more powerful, bigger screen, and newer I7 CPU.
