Hi i have an android tablet (flare2) with jellybean 4.1 OS, store warranty is expired and manufacture warranty as back was taken off to remove/re-install battery - unit was fully charged /no fix - I tried a hard reset using the reset button and using power/volume buttons was able to get to recovery feature but still locks up there with wiping data - formatting /data have left it there for over 2 hours did not move / no fix please if anyone knows how to reload the OS it would be appreciated (this belongs to a 5 yr old little girl for educational games)

So the hard reset works.
You can get back to recovery.

But before you attempted it. did you remove any SD cards that may of been in the flare2.
If not, do it before you do a factory restore of the 4.1 os.
It will hang because an sd card is in the tablet.

Once up and running put the sd card back in.
It will then mount the sd card.

It cannot mount it while installing the os so it hangs.
So the sd card must be removed, before or when installing 4.1. by the recovery option.

Thanks for the feedback - it does go to recovery without the sd card in - but will not go any further it just hangs there allows to choose the reboot /didn't work - wipe data/factory reset then to delete user data choose that one and then goes to wiping data formatting/data then formatting cache and hangs there and will not move
