The iPhone, iPad and iPod touch are the only devices
affected by error 1012 for Netflix. This is a server issue, similar to other
errors of the same type on iOS devices. What makes 1012 different is that it
can be resolved without messing with the internet settings on the device or in
the home. There are two notable fixes for Error 1012 that will get Netflix
working normally on multiple iOS devices.

Reset The App

To force a connection to the Netflix servers, reset the app.
Before you do this, make sure to have your Netflix login data available or you
will be locked out of the account.
