New Acer Aspire E15 freezing

Hello. I recently bought a new Acer Aspire E15 with windows 8.1. Ever since I got it, it freezes every 10 minutes or so and I have to manually shut it down. It only has a total of about 10 hours of use. Is there anything I can do about it, or is this just a crappy computer?

I'd recommend that you run some diagnostic tools (HDD and RAM for starters). Does that happen when you do something in particular or is it random? Also try updating the OS to see if this changes. You could also try the options from this link: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2681286
