New asus laptop making weird noise

Hey, so i just got a new laptop (asus x555lb) and from day one I'm hearing a little noise coming from my hard drive, its not loud but you can hear when the drive gets busy making like a small spinning noise. its really hard to describe. Is that normal?

For some drives it is. Just depends on the model. If you are 'very' worried over it then you should contact the laptop manufacturer as the laptop should be under warranty.

Can you record that?
Anyway, I believe you should back up the data stored on the drive. You should do so, even if there is nothing wrong with it.
