Hi all,
I just got the new inspirion 7000, the model with 4K IPS screen and 512Gb PCIe SSD.
I ran sam benchmarks and got following:
PCMark8 Home Accelerated v2 - 3097 points
PCMark8 Work Accelerated v3.0 - 4080 points
3DMark11 - 1280x720 test - 8888 points
When reffereing to this review that is pretty bad: http/www.notebookcheck.net/Dell-Inspiron-15-7000-7567-Gaming-Notebook-Review.196454.0.html
They had model with FullHD screen, and SATA SSD+HDD.
They got 3850 in PCMark8 Home, and 5068 in PCMark8 work. 3DMark11 is 9725.
All these three are well above my results. How that can be? Is it maybe bacause my 4K screen?
I checked power settings in Windows, they are set to maximum perfomance.
In NvidiaControlPanel GTX1050TI is selected.
Also checked settings in the BIOS, all fine.
Fresh install of Win10 Pro, all drivers up to date from Dell's website.
Is it possible I got a faulty laptop? Is benchmark results valide compliant when bringning the laptop back to shop?
It would be great if someone with the same model as I have run the benchmark
