New Gaming Laptop

I am looking to buy a new laptop for gaming and I would like to spend around 800-1000$ in that price range and want it to be able to run most games with medium to high settings I was looking at http://shop.lenovo.com/ca/en/laptops/lenovo/y-series/y40/index.html but wanted to see if there were any better ones for my price range your feedback is appreciated thanks.

This is the larger version, has the i7 non-U, has the GTX 860M, and still within your budget. Pretty much this is the best you can get for you money atm.

Will you be able to play all games? No. Can you play most games? Sure. Will have to turn down settings for some games, but for the most part they'll run.

an 860M won't max a lot of the heavy games, but for medium to high 1080p it'll do perfectly fine.
