New Laptop, have some important questions

So I just got th Asus ROG g751JL-wh71 with the Intel i7 4720hq. I was wondering if I need to manually enable the turbo boost or if it is ready out of the box?

It should be automatic. If you want to make sure it does work, then install "Intel Extreme Tuning Utility". Run the stress tester and see if the clock speed hits turbo boost speeds.

cool thanks man, I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to computers so I didn't want to have to dig in the bios and stuff
