new laptop lagging

just bought a new laptop today and lag when open application even open google also lag

4gb ddr4 and just hdd

Right click on the Taskbar and bring up the Task Manager. Double click on the heading named CPU and see what rises to the top of the list. Does it only happen when online?

4GB RAM is a very small amount nowadays when it comes to gaming. 8 is usually the minimum most people have.

Google Chrome is a memory hungry utility and another browser might help but my question was set to find out if the slowness was down to signal availability.
