new laptop low fps

i got a new laptop and when ever i start to play any game it just goes up and down up to 180 down to 7 . its really driving me crazy since its i5 6th gen nividia gforce940m . and i dot think its heat prplem cause it dosent feel hot at all. plz help

Is the game using the 940m? See if you can rt click ont he game and then select 'Run With' and then Nvidia 940m

its using the high performance nividia processor not the integrated one
