New laptop running very slow

Hi everyone,

I just recently bought a new HP laptop with which I thought were relatively good specs I guess. I tried running a few games on steam with graphics on low quality, everything is choppy and lags a lot. On a wireless connection I get about 10-15fps for some reason its the same on ethernet.

Secondly, I cannot run chrome without it being in admin mode. What I mean is I can't just start chrome and browse, the page takes forever to load and it says I have no connection, only when I run as administrator does it actually work.

Hi,

Since it's a new laptop I would suggest running a complete factory reset with, it saves you all the hassle with it that may occur in the long run of using it.
