Hi everyone. I was thinking of changing my laptop of 10 years old for a newer one. I have been looking at three options but I am unsure of which ones to buy. These are the options:

I will mainly be using this laptop for music production and to run engineering software that many of my university courses require me to use. I was wondering if any of you could let me know which of the laptops is best for accomplishing those tasks or if you may happen to know of another model that may be just as good at accomplishing what I described. I live in Canada btw so the prices are going to be more expensive than what is shown on the American websites, probably around 1600- 1800$ range.

P.S. I was also wondering if any of you who may own these laptops can speak of your experience with them (good, bad)

Get Acer Aspire V Nitro of your preferred screen size (15 or 17 inches) because it has 2GB more VRAM than Asus ROG. Even it has 256GB SSD whereas Asus ROG has 128GB. So, I think Acer Aspire V Nitro will be more value purchase, according to me.

Thanks a lot for your input Johnson Mike. That is what I was thinking too but I have heard that if any components such as the hard drives or RAM need to be changed that the Acer laptops are a pain to do it on because there are no openings on the bottom but rather it needs to be opened from the top and everything needs to be taken out. That was the only reason that kinda made me unsure about which ones to purchase.

Yup that's true, upgrading HDD or SSD is not much problematic but for upgrading RAM, you have to open several parts. But, you can visit Acer service centre and they should be able to do it quickly. I don't think it as a deal breaking thing as far as parts are upgradable.
