I have a laptop with a 5400RPM HDD and an 80GB caching mSATA. It has a good GPU ect and runs all of my games well except for Skyrim. It seems to take longer to load the cells that appear as you run about the game world. Is this because of the storage set up in this machine? I had a 7200rpm drive in my old one and gameplay seemed smoother.
Skyrim has extremely high textures and graphics even on the lowest of Settings, that's just the beauty of Bethesda Games. Sounds like this game is too intense for your laptop... Although you could try dropping the settings to low to see if it changes anything
Well my laptop is actually very high end and has a gtx 880m. So it's not the specs, at least not anything except for maybe the storage setup it comes with. I need to know whether this is gonna cause issues or not.
