Infinity Ward did this for COD4. One disabled gamer had trouble holding down the analog stick to aim down his sights, so they created a specially modified control scheme for him. Llamma Mods also created a special xbox360 controller for him.
Nice to know Sony is now onboard with Infinity Ward and Microsoft in the mission to make games enjoyable by everybody.

good story... but being a pesimist i can't help but think/know these companies are just trying to look less faceless/heartless so people will buy more of thier product... good outcome though, improving the quality of life for people is always a good outcome irregardless of the intent behind it
