you wouldnt even have to mod, just get hash oil and put that in instead of vit-c and you'd be laughing...litteraly or alcohol, a minor mod and you could put an alcohol vaporizer in there mmmm alcohol

[citation][nom]crossbow82[/nom]Great, then we'll have people out there modding the ACs to spray other things... more vehicle accidents due to drugged driving.[/citation]Is it that hard to mod a current vehicles A/C system to spray drugs into the car?

Is vitamin C even absorbed through the lungs or skin? Seems to me like it will have an insignificant effect. I'm a huge fan of Vitamins, and this seems like a waste to me.

And in regards to the overdosing on Vitamins, I believe for Vitamin C it would require about a half-pound of ingested, pure C, all within the same couple-hour time span. Your body doesn't store C, which is why stuff like Airborne says to take it every 3 hours... it's because you've already lost it all after 3 hours.

Great Cars are going the way of cellphones. Getting more and more complicated to drive in itself and find all of its features. I want my cellphone to make reliable phone calls and my car to drive reliably.

When all of those features of these new cars malfunction it will cost god knows how much to have it fixed.

I wish i could have my favorite fragrance following through my car. My dad always has said my Mustang GT smells like ive had French whores in there. When you open the door you smell a strong nice welcoming and relaxing oil just draw you in. God i love my AMERICAN made Mustang. American Made FTW!

[citation][nom]Strider-Hiryu_79[/nom]What about people allergic to citrus fruits that contain vitamin c?Think again Nissan or think L-A-W-S-U-I-T.[/citation]

Show me someone that's allergic to Vitamin C, and I'll show you a corpse.

I'm guessing you failed your biology class. You can't live without Vitamin C, and even a severe deficiency causes nasty things like scurvy.

[citation][nom]omnimodis78[/nom]How about Nissan randomly teleports free apples into their cars...more vitamins, more impressive technology, and it wouldn't be tacky at all - but being spreyed with vitamin C - sheesh...[/citation]

Na.... not many of us are interested in "Apple" here... can we have something else? like peaches, cherry, or a nice cup of lemonade..😉

lol

Back to the story, I do agree that it will be a good idea to have something like ionizer, or something to mantain the comfortable driving environment... but spraying Vit C?.... that is kind of over kill... so what's next?

Maybe in the future it can work with the GPS and give out wonderful BBQ smell when we pass by a restaurant or grill house..😉

lol

[citation][nom]shockerz33[/nom]I was wondering more about Vitamin C overdose...it IS actually possible...http://www.vitaminsdiary.com/vitam [...] erdose.htm"60-75mg of Vitamin C a day is the recommended daily dosage for those who feel they benefit from the vitamin. People can take up to about 1000mg safely, however; what is not absorbed and used by the body will be flushed out in the urine, so taking more than the recommended daily dosage is pointless. But this is not to say that over consumption of the vitamin does not do damage before it is excreted. People who regularly take more than 1000mg of vitamin C a day are more at risk for a Vitamin C Overdose than those who take less than 1000mg per day. Those who take other vitamin and nutrition supplements are considered most “at risk” for a Vitamin C Overdose, as overdoses typically depend most on the other vitamins that ascorbic acid interacts with."lol...lawsuit anyone?[/citation]

You forgot to mention that Vit C also have skin whitening effect. It may counter act the nice tanning section you just had..
".... various forms of vitamin C considered stable and effective antioxidants for skin... There are very few studies showing them to have benefit for inhibiting melanin production. The concentrations of these ingredients used in tests were generally high (more than 5%), which is rarely used in cosmetic formulations.[27]. Vitamin C can help brighten the skin tone." (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skin_whitening)

"We want drivers to feel that they are healthier staying in the car instead of on the outside".

Really?! Hehehehe. I can't help but chuckle at that statement. Sorry Nissan but i like gettin out and about. And i have to admit, my first thought was "What about vitamin C overdose?".

I'm sorry did I say allergic to vitamin C? I said allergic to fruits. I'm no biology expert but if you think that food allergies don't exist you better give up your day job.

[citation][nom]hardcore_gamer[/nom]"a safety system that will warn the driver and partially apply the brakes to avoid collisions"thats ok..[/citation]
what about when you need to step on the gas to avoid the collision? Applying the brakes isn't always the way to avoid a crash.

[citation][nom]dextermat[/nom]All I want is an affordable car that doesn't drink gas like water.Make a freakin electric car !!!! Its about time for that.I don't mind paying extra for that has long as it's a quality car.In the 80-90 they said that in 2000 we will have flying cars...the only thing auto makers can offer is faulty gas pedals, recall and cars full of crappy gimmicks we don't really need.way to go capitalist pigs[/citation]

Where I do agree that we should have much more efficient cars, all electric cars won't be much "cleaner".

http://tonto.eia.doe.gov/energyexplained/index.cfm?page=electricity_in_the_united_states

Look at the percentage that is NOT fossil fuel driven. I know this is from 2008, but the electric cars need to get their charge from something...

[citation][nom]filmman03[/nom]who's the ass that gave all thumbs down? n00b.imma have to agree with crossbow82, people mod their cars to go faster, stop faster, turn sharper and look cooler. now its going to be modding the A/C for drug related purposes...[/citation]

This just sounds dumb, why would they only start doing that now? I fail to see how you can modify a Vitamin C sprayer (not sure if it prays a liquid or a gas) into something that can hold a substance burn the substance and then push the substance out of the vents. you realize this is very inefficient way to put drugs into your body and everyone is still just going to do the drugs the old fashion way while driving.

It would be easy to install a system to do all that into current AV vents but it isnt done, why? its not cost effective and junkies dont have cash to throw around like that. not to mention the air purifier they are also adding will take all the smoke back out of the AC.

That on top of the speedometer alerting you of a birthday.

I imagine driving home, the guy is fine then it tells him it was his wifes bday.

Man tons of accidents.

Some studies suggest that Vitamin C can become a pro-oxidant in the presence of heavy metals. In my case if I take a large dose of vitamin C (500 mg) my whole body becomes flooded with histamine. It feels like someone scraped a razor over all of my internal organs. So I have no desire to breathe it in.
Even though the body may not technically store Vitamin C, it can recycle it using Vitamin E.
