New PC, need a vigorous virus scanner for old files

Hello,


I'm getting a custom PC in the mail,

but I have 2 computers and maybe some flash drives that I suspect might have a malware or virus infection.


I have AVG and malwarebytes right now,

What do you guys think I should use to really, really get rid of any possible viruses or infections before I transfer over some files onto the new PC.

They go all out when it comes to getting rid of viruses

But in my case my current PC isn't so bad that I need to go that route.

You could download a full functional demo.

Start your browser and type:

If you know someone with a clean pc, ask her/him of you could download the software and put it on a portable driver.
Use her/his bought Anti Virus software to check it manual.

I don't know where you're from, but I can go to the Library and internet for free. There I can download anything I like and they have for shore a good Anti Virus software installed.
The only thing that costs money is a paper printing.

Before connecting your new pc to the internet, install it.
Than connect it to the internet and update the Anti Virus software manually.

Now you can do what you want and if you like, check the files manual to be surten.

Are you saying just to install a Full anti-virus on the new PC

then scan the files when putting it onto the new PC ?

if that's the case wouldn't it be better to scan on a separate computer, then put it on the clean PC

Do you have a HDD external station?

Or hock the HDD to the main board, and let the Anti Virus software do it job, do it manual emidiotly.

Then you can scan the files, the pc is already protected or use your old pc and get this CD:
