Hi, I have a Toshiba Sat. Pro L300 which I bought second hand without a HDD. So I bought one on ebay and proceeded to load Windows onto it. We got as far as loading drivers and just as it tried to start the next phase, I got a blue screen with the following error code. IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL followed by the usual warning and ending with ***STOP: 0X0000000A (0X0000000000000010, 0X 15 more 0's2, 0X and 16 0's, 0XFFFFF8000D37172A.
That was trying a custom install with Windows 7.
If anyone could help, I would be most grateful. Cheers, Ron.

Thanks for that. I didnt do the memtest but it reminded me of my Gigabyte hard drive that is a bit funny about the types of ram it takes and so I changed the Ram from 2 x 2gbs to 1 x 2gbs and 1 x 1gb and lo, the laptop ran smoothly. Cheers, Ron.
