Newbie question: using the Treo 600 for Web access

Hi,

couple of newbie questions - please bear with me:

1. I was reading the user manual and was surprised to read that the
phone and web access were mutually exclusive, i.e. if i was browsing
then callers would go to voice mail.
So I want to know, when I am done browsing how do I "hangup" ?

2. how do I turn "OFF" the phone - I depress the power button for
15secs on the top of the phone and it says "Goodbye" - is that like
total power off?


I am new to the phone, thanks in advance.

1. The network is accessed as needed - it will graphically show you
connecting with a handshake when it is accessing the net for web browing
and email - and will graphically show the disconnect also.

2. Yes, when you depress the power button (more like 2 secs not 15 secs)
sprint will display "goodbye" with a chime. Now you have ONLY The Palm
Functions - No internet access or phone capabilities

Invoking the Palm "PHONE" program switches you over also.

That "graphic" indication is the little green/gray half-arrow doohickies
in the icon that indicates signal strength in Blazer.

In the lower, right-hand corner of the display, you'll see the little
antenna symbol. To the right of it are the signal strength bars. Above
those bars are the "connected" indication. If it's green, you're
talking via Vision, and can't send/receive phone calls. If it's gray,
you can send/receive phone calls.
