This is the Lenovo Y70 Touch that Newegg has today. (80DU006TUS) Gaming Laptop Intel Core i7 4710HQ (2.50GHz) 16GB Memory 1TB HDD 8GB SSD NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M 4 GB GDDR5 17.3" Touchscreen Windows 8.1

Spec's of the machine are:

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M 4 GB GDDR5
Intel Core i7 4710HQ (2.50GHz)
16GB Memory 1TB HDD 8GB SSD
17.3" Touchscreen 1920 x 1080
Windows 8.1
DVD+/-RW

Thanks for your replies in advance! If I need to add more information please let me know. I've been studying physics too long today.

My budget right now is between $700-1100 range. I've been looking at different laptops and everything under $700 seems to be lacking in a large array of areas. I've heard the MSI laptops are good and I've read numerous horror stories about the Y-series laptops. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Thanks for the suggestion rolli. I ended up going with the ASUS ROG GL551 Series GL551JM-EH74 gaming laptop. I've read nothing but great reviews over the overall quality. I opted for the 256GB SSD since I have dozens of drives laying around not being used.

That is a good choice, saw it and thought about linking it.
