Hi everyone,

I don't know if this is the right place to ask, so I'll ask anyway.

I bought a HP iPAQ RX3115 last december and thought I could read my
newsgroups on it while in the field (in an Internet service café or any
Wifi Blue Tooth service). Do you know of any good newsreader for the
PocketPc running Windows CE?

I use Netscape 7.1 reader on my PC.

I use qusnetsoft newreader on my rx3115 and am quite pleased with it.
Others here have stated that they like Inkspot. Both will give you the
capability to use wifi (and bt) connections to dowload directly from news
Servers. Newsreaders on the ppc have definitely come of a practical age,
replacing instead of syncing with their desktop counterpart (assuming a
useable connection on the device ).

Okay, I just downloaded and installed the latest version of Qusnetsoft
reader and I like it. Inkspot is still on my machine (I paid for it darnit!)
but Quesnetsoft is a nicer program. I downloaded it a couple days ago and
still didn't like it but that was the previous version, so I stand
corrected. Quesnetsoft is a better product. I will note that I have to use
my VPN to connect and sync when I'm away from my PC.

I like qusnetsoft too, but I really wish he would fix the messed up
quoting he uses. It is a ">" fully left justified. No leading spaces
and no characters. Otherwise, it messes with *OTHER* newsreaders being
able to color code quotes and indent properly.

Cool, matter of preference but I like it. Rick Murray was talking about
some nice plugins/future enhancements in another thread (rss, email), so
work on it is continuing, always a good sign.

The vpn requirement - Interesting way to get it to work with your service
provider, but explains some earlier details.

For future reference, is the above better? I want to make sure I understand
the issue. It looks like the response you made had "space>", as it appears
to me above, but that is from my perspective from within the program.

If it works, then selecting initials off may allow greater compatability
with other newsreaders.

No - it is still posting as " >"

If you aren't putting it in your reply format, then the app is doing
it for you.

See http/www.forteinc.com/agent/screenshot.php for an example of how
one newsreader can highight when the quoting is correct. Put the space
in front though and it thinks it is just another line of black text.

Cool, yeah I am familiar with agent, just wasn't sure which newsreader you
were using. I get it now,thanks for sticking with it.
