Nexus 5 or Nexus 6?

So, I am looking to upgrade my samsung ace 2 to either a nexus 5 or a nexus 6.

I will mainly be using my phone for gaming (retro emulators), so , performance matters a lot, as well as screen size. However, I am not a very heavy user (around 2 hours a day), so I don't know if the extra money is worth it.

I don't really care about the camera or the OS, as I will be installing a custom ROM.

Any advice?

Nexus 6, its better for playing games than nexus 5

I personally like the 5 more, mainly because its 1080p, and its gpu can handle 1080p more that the 6 can ahndle its 1440p.

Also! The 5 runs buttery in any game i put on it.

it all comes down to your preference you said u are going to install a custom rom anyway so y not go for some other manufactures who offer better devices when comparing the price to performance ratio. Well if its nexus range of devices you wanna buy then y not go for the latest.
