Pls help my nexus boots fine but after the Google logo it just turns to a black screen and stays there I've tried factory reseting but doesn't work. I also tried alot of methods but dosen't work

Solution
Have you tried booting up in "Safe Mode"? If there is something on the device hindering your access to it, that may be the best way to get past it. Running in "Safe Mode" stops certain apps and more from starting when you start the device. If it will load up fine in "Safe Mode" then you would need to clean out whatever has been installed or updated on the device that could be causing the issue.

To get into "Safe Mode" please do the following.

1. First turn off the tablet.

2. Next press and hold "Power" until you see the manufacturers logo on the screen, then release the power button.

3. "Quickly" press "Volume Down" and hold it for few seconds until you see the message "Safe mode: ON" or something similar.

4. If you wanted disable...

Solution
Per your message ... "But my nexus I forgot to say it's a nexus 7 2013 edition and I did what u said but when the Google logo pop up nothing happened and I held the volume down but it just went to a black screen as usual "

If it isn't allowing you to go into "Safe Mode" then you may have to do a full blown "Hard Reset". This will, however, remove anything you have on the device, so I would really save it for a last ditch effort option.

NOTE: Doing this will clear the data on your tablet, so it is suggested you not choose this option unless you have to, or aren't worried about losing anything on the device.

Be sure you back up any data you want to keep, to a computer or cloud account, before doing the reset.

To "Hard Reset" the tablet...

1. Make sure that the tablet is actually powered off.

2. Press the "Power" and the "Volume Up" buttons, together, until you see the start-up logo on the screen.

3. Once you can see the logo, release the buttons and allow the device to enter the "System Recovery Mode".

4. Next use "Volume Down" button to get to the "wipe data/factory reset" option When in recovery mode the "Volume Up" and "Volume Down" buttons are how to can navigate and highlight what option you need.

5. Once you have selected the "wipe data/factory reset", press the "Power" button to select that option.

6. On the following screen, repeatedly press the "Volume Down" button until the "Yes - delete all user data" option is what is selected.

7. Then press the "Power" button to hard reset the tablet.

Ok thanks for your information. But I already did this like 6 times lol I even open the case and took the battery out and placed it back in but tbh I think it has something to do with safe cause the last time i was on my tablet I rooted it and that's when it turn off. I guess I'll just have to bring it to like a repare shop or something cause I haven't seen anyone with this exact problem but thanks for trying to fix my tablet
