Seems that we didn't go there. We went to 8 casinos in a day, including long
walk on the strip. I was almost exhausted when going back to hotel.

Very nice pics. I think they are testament to two points:
- For $100, the Canon 18-55mm is outstanding value for money.
- Its the monkey behind the lens who matters the most ;-)

Would a smaller aperture and slower shutter have made them a bit less
"bloomy"? I don't know what the correct word is, but I'm under the
impression that lights tend to look more like starry points, rather than
bright blobs, if you stop down the aperture a bit.

It's a question, not a criticism - I don't know the answer! :eek:)

Liked your shots of Las Vegas, did you do much post processing? Also did you
just hand hold or use some support?

Unfortunately, the Montecito has been imploded. Look for the new
Montecito comming soon!
