Nikon L840 Coolpix that will not turn on

I have a L840 Coolpix that I brought two months ago. I have used it three times, today while I was uploading the pictures it turned off. I thought the batteries ran out, so I change them and it will not turn on. The batteries are in correctly and other suggestions?

Contact Nikon to get warranty support, why try to mess with a 2 month of camera when you can replace it or get a fix directly from Nikon.
