Great Idea as usual... One thing that set Nintendo aside from others, is that they are after innovation and less concerned about graphics...

[citation][nom]dwave[/nom]Enough with the stupid crysis line! It is overly worn out and shows that you don't have any wit to come up with a new funny line.[/citation]
dwave, is this the best response you can come up with to my very important question about if this new technology can play crysis or not? your response is overly worn out and shows that you don't have any wit to come up with a new funny or intelligent response. very disappointed in you dwave, very disappointed.

now someone please answer my very important question,

There is no need to answer your stupid question.
Ask yourself this, does it meet the game minimum system requirement?

For some reason, I feel that Nintendo's starting to head the ways of Sega, what with constantly slapping on additional, separate features on the same base hardware... Will the CD-DS be next?

Will the 3DS take off, possibly, but they thought that about the VirtualBoy, and we all know how that turned out!

[citation][nom]bboysil[/nom]Or maybe 3d using head tracking or motion tracking... but surely not the plain old 3d[/citation]

You're wrong, it IS plain old 3D. The only trick here is using head tracking to control the position of the game camera, giving the illusion of something more sophisticated than actually is.

To relate this to stereoscopic 3D in any way is absolutely wrong.

[citation][nom]slickyfats[/nom]This applies directly to your comment, its entitled: How to Use Our Comments, and Not Get Bannedhttp://www.tomshardware.com/news/t [...] ent&xtcr=5[/citation]
yeah about that. hey let me help you out with reading, since it seems that you missed something.

its ok, i'll help you out since maybe you need to read the article yourself

[citation]
Update: And no, I did not say that "Can it play Crysis" comments are going to result in a ban. I said that offensive comments is grounds for comment deletion and even banning. I noticed too 2 or 3 commenters are already taking this way out of proportion. I already talked about free-speech above. And, no, we're not going to go crazy banning "funny" comments that have some ground to stand on.
[/citation]

now let me point out something from that very article that applies to you!
[citation]A free-speech forum doesn't mean an open invitation to be a jerk.[/citation]

thanks and have a wonderful day. i'm glad i could educate you on how to use the forums.

thank you boxbabax! now i would like to clarify something:

why is it that every time i read an article, i can only think of ways to ask the question of "can x play crysis?" after i am done reading? the truth is that its getting a bit lame when people try to say THE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION EVAR get told that its getting a bit lame. i need to know if everything will play crysis. its actually becoming a documented disorder, crysisophobia. if i dont think something can play crysis, i am deathly afraid. if we can be tolerant of other people with disorders and issues, please respect mine.

if we had more posters like boxbabax then these forums would be a utopia for all.

thanks

Help me out here.

So we have the DS, DS Lite, DSi, and the DSi XL, all of which play the same games, with the exception of the single DSi game System flaw, some web downloads, and Guitar Hero On-tour.

I still don't understand why those consoles were all created when the actual game differences we beyond marginal. When I new console comes out I expect a different gameplay experience, but nintendo hasn't come through yet with these DS refreshes.

How is the 3DS going to be any different?

Two, with the popularity of 3d glasses and 3d blu-ray players and 3d video cards and future gaming and all entertainment being delivered in 3d, I think it's pretty safe to say that when nintendo uses the term THEY MEAN IT IN THE SAME WAY. Nobody is throwing out the 3d claim with their hardware if they dont mean actual depth perception and gameplay in 3d.

Have you finished your mug yet? I recommend you have another before speaking again.

Thanks for the education. I was unaware that the article was updated. But that still doesn't detract from how asinine your comment was, and every comment on things being able to play Crysis. And as far as indirectly calling me a jerk. Well now you can but before by no means was I being a jerk.

So right after they sell the DSi LL or whatever it was called, they decide to release a new version. Good for you Nintendo, way to piss off everyone who bought a DSi LL/DSi.

Wow this is a great idea for a handheld. I guarantee they are using the Parallax method of 3d, which would work perfect for a handheld since only one person is using it at a time. The problem with this technology is the 3d only works from certain viewpoints so if it was in a TV you would have to sit on the "sweet spot" on your couch to see the 3d. Not a problem with a handheld. Sweet idea nintendo!

Wow, I think you just demonstrated your lack of wit. You repeated what I said back to me and dressed it up a tiny bit. Thank you for the demonstration on how to be a parrot.
