No audio output

Please... I'm at my wits end here and I'm hoping someone can help me. I have an LG tv with no audio output or hdmi output. Only audio in and hdmi in. I bought a monoprice HDMI 4 port switcher to connect my brand new soundbar to my tv. I'm not sure if either I'm not connecting it right or it isn't working because there is still no sound coming from my soundbar. I don't know what to do and I don't want to buy a new TV. Please help me!

If your purchased an HDMI input selector with audio extraction and you connected it to the soundbar with a digital audio cable you may need to set the output to 2 channel on the remote. Make sure that you select the correct input on the soundbar.
