Question No bootable device (even USB)

Hi everyone,

laptop with one hard drive suddenly says No Bootable Device.

• Tested the hard drive on another computer, works fine.
• Set the boot priority in BIOS to hard drive, still nothing.
• Tried to install a fresh copy of Windows from USB, unable to boot from USB.
• Set the boot priority in BIOS to USB, still nothing.
• USB works fine on the other computer.
• Tried to install a frech copy of Windows from CD, unable to boot from CD.
• Set the boot priority in BIOS to CD, still nothing.
• CD works fine on the other computer.

It seems it is unable to boot from anything and I'm unable to install a fresh copy of Windows.

Which laptop brand and exact model is it?
check the boot priority after saving again in BIOS, if it really stores it correctly
