my child tried resetting his pc well now when you turn it on it tells him no bootable device restart I tried recovery nothing works

hammer the delete key as PC is starting go into bios go /system/boot device/ and select the drive sounds like the watch battery which holds the bios boot procedure is failing just go and buy a new watch type battery identical to the one you have there only £2-3.
