No bootable device

I was trying to restore my laptop bc it wouldn't boot up....I accidentally started to delete my harddrive.. but I canceled it and now it just says no bootable device.. please restart system..... what can I do?

When you say you accidentally started to delete your hard drive what exactly were you doing? Were you using a Windows tool are some third-party software? Or were you in the BIOS?

Second, would you laptop boot into Windows or just do nothing?

I was trying to do a factory reset bc my laptop wouldn't boot but I could get into safe mode....I clicked on factory reset but it asked for a recovery disk which I don't have... so I just clicked no I don't want to continue... but it popped up "deleting harddrive" but gave me an option to cancel so canceledand now just says no bootable device.. please restart...

In the bios advanced tab..system config...I don't have "boot mode"
