no bootable device

I tried to reset my satellite and now it sayin no bootable device-please restart what do I do? I don't have any kind od repair cd??? help

Repair CD may not be any good anyway if the hard drive has failed, but let's assume that it is okay and just needs a factory recovery.

Turn your Toshiba laptop off.
Press and hold down the 0 (zero) key
Keeping 0 key depressed, press the power-on button.
Follow the instructions.
