No headset jack

I just bought an LG Smart Tv and assumed it had a headset jack but it doesn't. I have Direct TV and cannot use their box either. What do I need to do to use my wireless headset?

I think that an optical to 3.5mm audio converter, if optical out available on Samsung, would work.

An optical to analog converter won't drive headphones. It also it fixed level so you wouldn't be able to adjust volume either.
You can connect a bluetooth transmitter to the optical output and use bluetooth headphones or connect a DAC/headphone amp to use wired headphones.
A headphone amp without DAC could be connected directly to the DTV box analog audio output.
