Just bought a samsung tab a 2016 and can't use it as a remote... wondering if I get a micro usb/hdmi adapter and plug it into my reciver that has a hDmi going to my projector will work as I was using a samsung blueray player as the main hub for watching stuff but since I can't use it anymore with out a remote was wondering if I can just use the tablet as the source instead of that but am un sure if the video and sound will transfer to the reciver/amp to the projector thanks

Make sure you get an adapter for a non-MHL HDMI input unless your receiver has an MHL HDMI input.
