no picture on TV with cable but when I use firestick to watch MLB etc picture is fine???

all of a sudden my tv picture is black but it's fine when watching through the fire stick??

Does the cable work on other TVs?
If you have a cable box try rebooting it.
Try a different input on the TV.
Try a different HDMI cable.
Call your cable provider.
