I'm confused. I assumed you are at home where most people dont have a proxy server setup and therefor dont need to setup their lan connection with one.

Can you explain your situation a bit better?
If you are at work, contact the IT dept or just look at the proxy settings on another pc.

no proxy server it was deleted along with a virus also I can not get online with out proxy server,,,,,thx popatim
