No remote with my vizio tv and I would like to watch movies with my Dvd player. Any ideas?

Help with a vizio tv without the remote

If you connect the DVD with HDMI the TV might switch to that input when you turn on the DVD. Problem will be switching it back again without the remote. You should be able to get a replacement remote or a Logitech Harmony universal remote.

If you have viziocast on phone and tv capable, you can use the phone as a remote.

I have one if you hold the power button it lets you change inputs manually.

Otherwise have to buy new remote.

Go to google play store and download Peel Remote. I have a vizio also and toddlers, so it comes in handy and works great.
