Solved! No Sound But Video

I connect my laptop (asus) to my tv through an HDMI cable. I get video but sound comes through laptop. When I go into the sound properties to change default sound to the HDMI it isn’t listed their.

Any suggestions?

make sure you using the newest nvidia and amd video drivers. whe nthey install they should install video hdmi sound drivers.
